I didn’t know too much about Ted Bundy before reading this novel loosely based on his crimes and one of the young women who survived, but I loved how the focus wasn’t on him (he’s not even given a name in the book) but on the women, and their lives aside from being caught in his orbit. It reminded me of The Five, by Hallie Rubenhold, an excellent nonfiction account of the five known victims of Jack the Ripper.
