Another backlist title from my own shelves. I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting the depth that these ‘essayettes’ contained. What I thought would be a rather lighthearted read turned out instead to be a collection of observations that were poignant, witty, thoughtful, and insightful. Ross Gay reminds me that men are capable of gentleness and beauty.
