This is one of the books I’ve owned the longest without having read. I looked up the year I added it to my collection: 2006, 17 years ago! I finally pulled it off the shelf last week and started reading. Threads is the story of Anne Boleyn, with a twist: she and Henry VIII are souls that have experienced several reincarnations together. The novel is told by Anne, as she observes some of these lifetimes from a liminal space. I quite enjoyed this unusual perspective and the writing is very good.
