Happy Canada Day — and I’m celebrating in Canada! On our drive up to visit family in Ontario for the week, we were listening to Rick Steves on NPR, and he was interviewing two Canadian travel writers, discussing Canadian identity, as well as the current political situation with the US. Both writers are featured in the current issue of Canadian Geographic, so of course I had to pick up a copy once I got here—as well as a bag of chips to snack on while I read!
