More, Please

Shaun Bythell’s third installment of his bookshop diaries is just as curmudgeonly and charming as its predecessors. As the owner of the world-famous used bookshop in Wigtown, Scotland, Shaun writes about the daily experiences of a bookseller, particularly one who deals in used books. Three books in, it still astounds me that people ask for discounts for used books, or complain that a vintage book costs more than the initial price. Even though this book is more of the same, I enjoyed reading about the daily comings and goings of life in the bookshop and would read a fourth one if published. And of course, I’d love to visit the shop in person one day!
