I led a “DIY Book Journal” workshop at @huxandhiro this afternoon, which was a lot of fun—especially getting to talk about books and reading, as well as adjacent topics like journals and pens (side note: I learned there’s @phillypenshow next month which could be dangerous for my wallet!)—and of course I didn’t leave without some goodies. To wit: two packs of Wilmington landmark postcards by @christianjacksonart which will be sent around the world via @postcrossing, and a set of cards and bookmarks by @toddde85 (I somehow missed these when I was at his @artloopwilmington exhibit a couple weeks ago), and finally, of course, a book. This memoir of one man’s writings of his daily observations may inspire me to write more in the coming year.
