I love a good ghost story. Alas, this wasn’t one. I almost DNFd it about halfway through because I was so bored, but I thought, well, maybe it redeems itself. No, it didn’t. Every trope and cliche of the gothic and Victorian novel was thrown in here, like some nonsensical AI sludge. Bleh.
