I’m suffering a bit of book hangover this morning, having finished the third in what I hope is not, but suspect may be, the last in a series about the indomitable Ira Adler. Set in the Victorian era, the books are a mashup of romance and mystery, but it would be a disservice to the books to say they fall in a particular genre. The characters, plot and writing are all superb. I highly, highly recommend these books, and in fact, have very much enjoyed everything of Faraday’s that I’ve read. I really, really hope there’s more of Ira’s story to come.
