I visited the Philadelphia Rare Book Fair, and picked up this beautiful Modern Library edition of Eudora Welty’s collected stories. (I was inspired by reading Ann Patchett’s essay dedicated to Welty’s brilliance as a writer.) The second photo shows the $8000 edition of Dracula I held in my hands, as well as two comparably cheap editions priced at just several hundred dollars.
