As the days lead up to Christmas, a mother and her teenage son find themselves at the center of a menacing, mysterious story. This is a quick read that taps into the old tradition of telling ghost stories at Christmastime, but there’s perhaps too much going on in too few pages, and I some aspects (like the names of the teenager, for example) seemed extraneous.
