This is the Story of a Happy Marriage is a collection of essays written by Ann Patchett throughout her career as a writer (up until the book’s publication a decade ago) for various magazines and other print media. I thought each one was excellent, with her talent and skill as a writer apparent in every sentence. I’ve only read one other book by her (State of Wonder) but reading her nonfiction makes me want to read more of her novels.
