“The pull of the moon will be shared by you and the ocean and the minds of wild things.” A spontaneous pick from my TBR, The Pull of the Moon was a quick read about Nan, a 50-year-old woman who embarks on a personal odyssey, both literal and figurative. Originally published in the mid-1990s, there are some aspects that are a bit dated, and Nan is a white, upper middle class woman with all the privileges that entails. But in other ways, this story of a woman on the cusp of the latter part of life is both universal and timeless.
