I absolutely *love* LGBTQ historical romance. So when I saw a new book coming out with this cover and title – I knew I wanted to read it ASAP. I’m on netgalley, but I don’t request many titles because I have way too much to read already, but as soon as I saw this one listed I snapped it up. I definitely needed a palate cleanser after making my way through The Stand, and A Gentleman’s Gentleman was just the ticket. One of my favorite tropes is the “just one bed” scenario (yesssss give it to me) and this book goes one further and introduces the “just one armoire” trope— and it is delicious. This is the slowest of slow burn romances with a climactic (pardon the pun) finale. I’ve already preordered my copy for when it’s released in March.
