I bought The Most a few months back but waited until this month to read it, as it’s set during a single day in November 1957 in Delaware. Kathleen and Virgil and married, and both hold secrets and unfulfilled dreams, they are going through the motions of marriage and life, without really embracing either one. This novella packs quite a punch, and would make good fodder for discussion. I also liked the settings of Rhode Island (a state I used to live in) and Delaware (the state I live in now).
