I have a new bookstore to add to my list of local(ish) favorites! @50wattsbooks is a new bookstore open in the Chestnut Hill area west of Philadelphia, and they focus on offering a variety of international, small, and independent press books, chapbooks, zines, coffee table books, all on a variety of topics, both fiction and nonfiction. There were so many books that caught my eye, but I’m excited to add the ones I did purchase to my home library. If you are local or ever in the vicinity of Philly, they are worth a visit (and bonus, there are two other bookstores within walking distance, @multiverse_philly and @booked_chestnuthill as well as a used bookstore, @hilltopbooksphilly) so you can make it a literary field trip!
