June 2 – it seemed fitting to read this book today, the story of a family on the day of the late Queen Elizabeth’s coronation on this same day back in 1953. I got this book from @cincybookbus last year, about time of King Charles’ coronation. It’s sentimental without being maudlin, and quite insightful as to the dynamics of a working class family.
