In a chapter about typos and similar editing errors, the parenthetical comment about homophones contains its own typo. (Homophones, like flour and flower, have DIFFERENT meanings but sound the same. And flour and flower definitely don’t have the same meaning.) I almost think this was put in the text deliberately as a sort of literary prank, a little wink to see who’s paying attention.
