In anticipation of seeing the movie Jaws on the big screen for the first time, I also read the novel it was based on. I didn’t expect to enjoy the book as much as I did, but it was really good, and just different enough from the movie. I ended up reading it in a day! This edition includes a forward by Benchley (he comes across as a witty and humble guy) and an afterword with some background on the creation of the novel and the film. Seeing the movie in a crowded historic theater was so fun, plenty of scares and laughs.
