I’ve had these in my home library for about a year now and finally dove in this week. I love a good twisty retelling of a classic, especially one with queer and/or dark fantasy vibes. These have both! I have to be honest though, and say I was disappointed in Hooked as I wanted more of and from the Captain Hook character. The other characters all felt a bit lackluster, too. And yes, before anyone asks, I have read (and loved!) Peter, Darling.
