I’m not usually one for books about motherhood, as a mom who adopted older children, a lot of the subject matter (pregnancy, giving birth, mothering babies and toddlers) doesn’t apply to my experience. But I am middle-aged! I’m glad I saw this on the new books shelf and decided to give it a try. It’s so funny and even the parts I couldn’t directly relate to were ones I could empathize with as a fellow woman/human being. I also lol’d for real quite a bit.
