I read this book over the course of several mornings, sitting on my back porch, listening to various birdsong and watching the backyard activity of spring. I enjoyed this book so much, relating to her references to being a child of the 80s, empathizing with her feelings of being an outsider and treated as “other,” and lamenting the changing of our world along with her while also being enamored of its wonders. Highly recommend!
