This slim novel packed a punch, chock full of eldritch horrors and human ones. There’s also a kickass sword-wielding heroine. I’ll never be able to look at Stone Mountain without quelling a shiver. If you liked Lovecraft Country (I did), you’d enjoy Ring Shout. And there’s a hint of more stories to come.
