I am so excited! One of my favourite childhood books, The Ghost of Opalina, has finally come back into print, thanks to @graymalkinmedia. It’s the story of a family that move into an old house, only for the children to discover that there’s already a resident, a ghostly cat named Opalina. She proceeds to tell the children the history of the families that lived in the house, throughout her nine lives, beginning in the 1700s. There are beautiful pencil drawings (Peggy Bacon was also an artist) of characters and scenes. I can’t wait to reread it after all these years.
