Before we moved, I set aside several books to keep out so I’d have something to read while the rest of them sit in storage for a couple months. So, when I saw the Winter Reading Challenge making the book blog rounds, I knew it’d be a perfect fit for me. Joining this challenge will also serve another purpose: to free up some of the BookCrossing books I’ve received over the past few months via book trades and whatnot. I feel bad when they languish too long on my shelves, and want to get them back out in the world. As such, all of these books are also BC books. Here are five books I’ve chosen, although I reserve the right to switch out and/or add more:
Edited to add:
Things are not going well on the novel-writing front, I’m afraid, so I figure I may as well go ahead and dive back into my reading. With the move and life being kind of unsettled at the moment, my heart’s just not in it. I’ve been plodding along, but not really having fun or getting much joy out of it – and isn’t that the point, really? So while I haven’t officially given up, I don’t harbor any real goal of making the 50K by November 30th, barring some major flash of inspiration and/or effusion of verbosity.
